Well it has been a busy six months. I’ve put more focus on my etsy store and that has really paid off. Probably one of the reasons I work for myself is because I am all over the place; disorganized, unfocused at times, impulsive. So it’s a challenge to create new work consistently, photograph, list the new items and so on. But it is improving and it has helped budgeting where my time and energy are spent. Cutting back on consignments as well as just doing a few select shows has been beneficial.

Speaking of shows, I’ll be at the Unique LA Local Love Event in a week and a half. I just got the layout for vendors and will be near Eva Franco. This could be a bad thing, staring at her collection for two days. I may not go home with any profit. Regardless, Unique never disappoints, so I hope to see you there. By the way, we will be set up across from the free cocktails. Just sayin’.
Here are some new items I’ve been working on and will have at the show (also in my shop)…

copper butterfly earrings

gold filled stacking rings
And while we’re on the subject of ‘local love’, have you Long Beach locals been to the Greenhouse? Seriously, the best cappuccino in the city. AND they use a local roaster, Rose Park Roasters, that delivers beans to you on bike. Awesomeness!!
